These have been my favourite albums of the year so far. Of course, in a year when my big top four (Björk, Tori Amos, Madonna & Kate Bush) have all announced studio albums, but not released them yet, this is bound to change drastically. But for now, this is how I feel. I would say PJ has released the year’s best, and that is not likely to change.

Interesting that my two favourite albums of 2011 so far (PJ & tUnE-yArDs) are female artists tackling the subjects of war and/or violence. I’m glad I am alive to experience such incredible work.
